When you hear the expression Dark Goddess, sometimes it can bring unfamiliar ideas to mind, ideas of something possibly sinister.
How ever, working with Dark Goddess energy is incredibly powerful in shifting limited beliefs and creating immense self love. In fact, when we work with Dark Goddess energy we absolutely reclaim our true self and move forward with complete purpose.
Dark Goddess work is all about facing our shadow, our deepest secrets and shame, showering then with love and transforming them into our greatest strengths.
The real you!
Absolutely not!
Can I promise it will be all giggles and laughter the whole way through? Possibly no. But I can promise 100% it will be worth it.
When we work in this field, it is all about loving every single part of who we are, especially those parts that we have hidden, probably even from ourselves.
Dark Goddess work is shadow work.
Taking the time to be held in a safe space and looking in the dark of ourselves. Once we do this, we shine a light on those parts, shower them with love and total acceptance. Resulting in the transformation and reclamation of our power! Expect to feel emotional, dare I say triggered, and possibly uncomfortable. Also expect to feel the most unconditional love and joy you have "known" exists, but has deluded you for years.
Honestly, this work is incredibly deep and the most rewarding thing you could possibly do for yourself
This can depend on the individual. Like riding a bike or learning to drive a car, if you only take 30 minutes every two weeks to learn, it is likely to take you months and months to gain competence . But if you throw yourself in and take the time you need to gain this skill, your time frame is greatly decreased.
When embarking on anything with me, I will always create a basis around Inner Child Work. Doing this is a perfect foundation to encourage growth and results, because you are able to see where you hold judgement around yourself, and in turn hold that place with love and reverence. This simple step can eliminate the barriers we have to create true change.Life is all about learning and growing, or else we are dying.
When we embark on the journey of Dark Goddess work, we are on the path of true commitment to self, which has the quickest and deepest change
.So, in answer to the question....in all honesty, how much are you willing to give to yourself to get results? When we expect others too create change for us, like a magic wand, it totally defeats the whole truth that we are the ones who create change, for us. I facilitate, many others facilitate too....but personal responsibility is where it stops or grows.
I offer the chance for you to be held, to lead and guide, as you reclaim yourself. The time that takes is up to you. personally I am a jump in the deep end kind of gal.....
Shadow work is a concept that has been around for centuries .
Before its "new" name, this work would have fallen under the care of Shamans, Medicine women, Priests and Priestesses. They would have carried out rituals, used mind altering substances, danced and used 'magic" to by pass the conscious mind to create deep change and relief.
So, what exactly is the Shadow spoken about here? In essence, it is our dark side, the parts of ourselves we have disowned in the need to feel loved and accepted. Your shadow is the place within you that contains all of your secrets, repressed feelings, primitive impulses, and parts deemed “unacceptable,” shameful, “sinful” or even “evil.” This dark place lurking within your unconscious mind also contains suppressed and rejected emotions such as rage, jealousy, hatred, greed, deceitfulness, and selfishness.
As women, we live in a society where the expectations to look a certain way, behave a certain way and speak a certain way are so deeply entrenched in our DNA that there is no doubt we have some deep Shadow work to embark on.
When we take the time to face those deeply hidden "wrong" parts of ourself and embrace them with light, acceptance, forgiveness, and love, we can transmute the Shadow and it becomes our super power.
We take a journey to find where our shadows have been hidden, through movement, rituals and giving ourselves permission to love what ever we find.
When we talk about embodiment we are expressing a practice which uses movement. This could be in deep meditative practices where we use energy to shift blockages, or open doors to hidden parts of self, to using dance to connect to our emotions. It can mean allowing ourselves to move however our body wants as we process trapped feelings.
In essence, explaining feminine embodiment is like trying explain the taste of salt to those who may have never experienced it.
Ultimately it is being guided into your own body to find the answers for you...that you already have.
A natural invitation to feel all the wisdom that was already there.
When you think of a child, for example, playing in the garden. They have no thought of how dirty their fingers maybe getting as they bury their hands in the dirt. Their only thought is how it feels, what they can create as it falls throw their hands, possibly feeling a wiggly worm slipping through their tiny fingers.. totally experiencing every part of that moment, with freedom and no expectation.
Total embodiment.
When you are dis-embodied, which most of us are, you will
We will create sacred space for you to reconnect to your own truth, wisdom and power through embodiment practices.
